Walkden, Parr Fold Park, War Memorial
A plaque formerly on the obelisk was moved to the town hall. It was then moved c1990 to Walkden Road British Legion club. It was placed there as the town hall was being re-developed. It is unknown whether the plaque has names commemorated (this info and names from War Memorials Register).
