Local Branches
Your branches ... getting local!
See What We Do
Events
All of our branches organise monthly meetings at which both in-house and invited speakers talk on topics which will be of interest to branch members. Admission is free to members, a small charge is payable by non-members.
Newsletter
Our Anglo-Scottish, Bolton and Oldham branches publish monthly newsletters which contains news about local events and new resources for their area of interest. Members and non-members can sign up to receive any or all of the branch newsletters.
Community
Our branches work closely with local community organisations. Projects and educational activities are frequently run with the close involvement of local archives and libraries.
Archives
Our branches work closely with local (and sometimes national) archives to expand the resources available to our members and to archive users.
Shop
Our online shop sells books maps, CDs and downloads relating to family history in general and the areas of our branch interests in particular. Many of the publications are the product of branch-led projects
Volunteer
All of our branch activities are run by volunteers. If you would like to get involved, contact the branch, who will tell you about the volunteering opportunities available.
