Manchester & Lancashire FHS
Our volunteers will be available to help you with any questions you may have about joining us and/or the volunteering opportunities that are available. We will also have our well-stocked book shop where you can browse a wide range of books including the Neil Richardson series, and a range of maps.
MLFHS Helpdesk
Our MLFHS Family History Help Desk will be open from 11:00-2:00 !! We've got some of the top team in. So please stop by with your queries. Hope to see you there!
Anglo-Scottish FHS
Our Anglo-Scottish branch will be present to tell us about the sets of records that might help you with Scottish ancestors who migrated to Manchester - and many other places. A small collection of pre-loved Scottish-history-related books will also be available to first-comers to buy.
Bolton Family History Society
Our Bolton branch can tell you about their in-person meetings held at a local venue, and the valuable records that their members have been transcribing and making available to society members.
Oldham & District FHS
Our Oldham branch will be busy with their own meeting, in Oldham, on the day, but will be represented on the MLFHS stand. Plenty of time to visit their stand, and all the other stands, in the morning, and then catch a tram to the meeting in Oldham!
Manchester Corporation Transport
The Manchester Corporation Transport Staff Records are a very important archive and our volunteers have assisted with the preservation and transcription of these records. A selection of the Museum's valuable archives will be available to view and you can learn more about the Museum, its collections and public events.
