Here are some details of the various stations in Oldham. Mainly just when they were opened and were closed. The entries are likely to be expanded as more research is done.
They are listed in roughly order of opening.

Middleton Junction
Open 31.3.1842 ... Closed 3.1.1966
Was the terminus on the main Victoria to Yorkshire line. Steep Incline to Werneth.
A goods line starting near the start of line was built later to a Coal Deport in Chadderton – no doubt to avoid the incline.

Werneth
Open 31.3.1843 ... Closed 3.10.2009
Was called Oldham to start with.
There was a goods station attached reached by a bridge under West Street (bridge still there)
Platt Brothers had their own rail network off the line at top of incline.

Oldham Central
Opened 1.11.1847 ... Closed 18.4.1966
Part of extension into Oldham via tunnels.

Mumps
Opened 1.11.1847 ... Closed 3.10.2009

Greenfield
Opened on 1.8.1849 ... Station still open.
This station looks to have been built as part of the Piccadilly to Yorkshire line

Open 1.9.1851 ... Closed 2.5.1955
Terminus of a branch line off Piccadilly to Yorkshire line.

Lees
Opened 5.5.1856 ... Closed 2.5.1955

Grotton
Opened 5.7.1856 ... Closed 2.5.1955

Clegg Street

Oldham end of Oldham Ashton line.

Park Bridge
Opened 26.8.1861 ... Closed 4.5.1959
On Oldham Ashton line.

Built for the Measurements Factory – clock and meter makers. Two trains each day stopped there – start and end of working day.
